Do you think that Millennials, in particular, fall prey to purchasing knockoff goods? What factors will contribute to the growth or demise of the counterfeit market in 2019?

Millennials, my kids included, are generally very aware of social issues and especially those that end up hurting people. Certainly the manufacturing of knockoffs comes at a price that includes humans being compromised, so I don’t think the majority of Millennials would knowingly purchase items that are knockoffs. The question becomes how do you tell when some of them are so well done that even experts find it hard to tell the difference? Price, that’s how. If an NFL Jersey generally costs $100 and up, then how is it possible that the one being sold is priced at $25? Remember what your mom said, “If it’s too good to be true…”
